Privacy policy
Last updated: 27 October 2026
DBP Trading Investment Consulting Company Limited (“DBP”, “we”) respects the privacy of its customers, suppliers and visitors to the website dbptrading.com. This policy explains how we process personal data.
1. Scope
This policy applies to personal data collected through the website dbptrading.com, the quote request and supplier registration forms, email and messaging channels (Zalo, WhatsApp, LINE) when you contact DBP. DBP processes personal data in accordance with Vietnamese law on personal data protection; for customers in Japan, DBP respects the principles of Japan’s Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI).
2. Data we collect

- Transaction information: products of interest, specifications, volumes, port of destination, documents you attach.
- Supplier information: company information, products, production capacity, certifications.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed — collected automatically when you visit the website.
DBP does not request, and does not knowingly collect, sensitive personal data through the website.
3. Purposes of use
- To respond to your requests and send quotations, specification sheets and samples.
- To evaluate and carry out cooperation with suppliers.
- To perform contracts, prepare documents and deliver goods.
- To improve our website and services.
- To send product information if you agree to receive it; you may opt out at any time.
DBP processes data on the basis of your consent (the confirmation checkbox in our forms) or to fulfil a request or a contract to which you are a party.
4. Sharing of data
DBP does not sell personal data. Data is shared only to the extent necessary with:
- Partner factories and packing houses — to prepare quotations and produce to your requirements.
- Shipping, freight forwarding and inspection companies, and banks — to fulfil orders.
- Technology service providers (website hosting, email) — under confidentiality agreements.
- Competent government authorities — when required by law.
Supplier information is introduced to buyers only with the supplier’s consent.
5. Transfer of data abroad
Because DBP works with buyers in international markets, data necessary for a transaction may be transferred between Vietnam and the country of the buyer or the seller. DBP does so in accordance with applicable law and only to the extent required for the transaction.
6. Retention period
Data is kept for as long as necessary for the purposes stated above, or for the period required by law for accounting records and contracts; it is then deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
You have the right to be informed, to access and correct your data, to request its deletion, to withdraw your consent and to object to the processing of your data for marketing purposes. Send your request to info@dbptrading.com; DBP will respond within the time limit set by law.
8. Data security
DBP applies appropriate technical and organisational measures — encrypted connections (HTTPS), access control and regular backups — to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure.
9. Cookies
The website uses cookies that are necessary for it to function and analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the website. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some functions may not work fully if cookies are blocked.
