Common concerns

Common concerns when importing from Vietnam — and how DBP handles them

Specifications misunderstood across languages

DBP communicates with you directly in English or Japanese and turns your requirements into a bilingual specification sheet that both you and the factory sign off.

Inconsistent quality from lot to lot

Every lot has its own certificate of analysis and is inspected at the factory before container loading; real photos are sent to you before the goods leave the warehouse.

Missing or late documents

The document set is prepared to your market’s import requirements and checked before it is sent — so your goods are not left waiting at port for paperwork.

Hard to reach anyone when issues arise

One point of contact is responsible from quotation to after-sales; issues are resolved together with the factory and recorded for the next lot.

Supply chain

From the orchard to your export shipment

Products are prepared, frozen and packed at partner packing houses and factories; DBP inspects every lot before container loading.

Just send us six pieces of information

The clearer things are from the start, the more accurate the quote and the fewer follow-up questions.

  1. Product and intended use

For example: salt for water treatment, IQF vegetables for contract catering.

  2. Technical specifications

Particle size, moisture, cut, standards to meet — or send your existing specification file.

  3. Packing

Bag type, weight per bag, labels, pallets.

  4. Volume

Quantity for the first order and expected annual volume — there is no fixed minimum.

  5. Port of destination and delivery terms

FOB or CIF, and your port of destination.

  6. When you need the goods

So that DBP can schedule production and book suitable vessel space.

Q&A

Questions buyers often ask

All questions
Does DBP have an office or representative in my country?

DBP’s office is in Ha Noi, and we work directly with customers abroad, in English or Japanese, by email, phone, WhatsApp, LINE and online meetings. DBP’s founder has seven years of international business experience, living and working abroad.

What payment terms are available?

The payment method and schedule (for example T/T or L/C) are agreed in the contract for each order.

Do you accept small orders?

Yes. Quantity is per order; for small orders, DBP advises you on a suitable shipping option such as a consolidated less-than-container load (LCL).

What if the goods arrive off-specification?

Specifications and the claims procedure are set out in the contract. DBP works with the factory to verify the issue using the certificate of analysis, inspection photos and retained samples from the lot, and to resolve it.
